With over 4 decades of experience in the mining industry, I have cultivated expertise in safety, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. Starting as an apprentice electrician, I honed my technical skills and developed a passion for safety and teamwork. My career has spanned roles such as Production Engineer, Mine Manager, Health and Safety Manager, Foreman, and Senior Engineering Foreman, across various mines including gold, uranium, platinum, copper, zinc, and lead.

In roles I have fulfilled as Risk Management Officer, Safety Specialist, and Chief Safety Officer, I have implemented safety initiatives and overseen large-scale projects, fostering a positive safety culture. My executive positions, including Security & HSEQ Manager and Project Manager, have further enhanced my ability to drive operational efficiency and safety excellence.

I excel in developing strategic initiatives that promote growth and safety, and I am committed to nurturing talent and leading diverse teams. My aspiration is to inspire others in the mining industry to prioritize safety and strive for excellence.
